The Australian Certified Organic Standard prohibits the use of synthetic chemicals including pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. Organic farming practices also focus on biodiversity production and land regeneration.

It is not currently an Australian legislation requirement to label foods made with GM material. Only Certified Organic food is GM free.

Livestock MUST be 100% free range to be certified organic. Animals must be given a high quality of life that allows them to perform natural social and physical functions – NO caged chickens and NO sow stalls.

Certified products do not use synthetic colourings, fragrances, ethoxylated ingredients, silicones, paraffin or petroleum. All ingredients used are natural and are NOT tested on animals.
